Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has expressed grief over the loss of lives of the two police personnel who died this morning in the Gotirautapatna accident on the Cuttack-Paradip road. He also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh for the families of both the deceased.
The post on his X handle read, “Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives of two police personnel (an OPF constable and a Home Guard) in a road accident at Gittaraupatna on the Cuttack-Paradip road. Expressing condolences to the bereaved families, he ordered a compensation of ₹ 10 lakh to the next of kin of both the deceased. He also wished a speedy recovery to the injured.”
Guard of Honour will be given to the two deceased police personnel in the PCR van accident in Cuttack.
