Bhubaneswar, : A youth, who had attempted suicide outside Odisha Assembly, died while undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack today.
The deceased, identified as Dusmanta Das, was a resident of Kujanga area in Jagatsinghpur district. Das slit his wrist and consumed poison outside the Odisha Assembly allegedly due to negligence in treatment.
The police rescued the youth and admitted him to the hospital.
He alleged that the SCB Medical College and Hospital is not providing treatment under the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana.
