Bhubaneswar, : Odisha Vigilance officials have traced suspected illgotten cash of over Rs 1 crore and whooping bank deposits of Rs 4.19 crore along with other properties of Gaya Santara, Deputy Manager, IDCOL, and his family members.
As per latest reports, the Vigilance sleuths have unearthed suspected illgotten cash of Rs 1,06,40,500,bank deposits of Rs 4.19 crore, 1.083 kilograms gold and 6.75 kilograms of silver.
Besides these, two multi-storeyed buildings in Bhubaneswar, as many as 13 plots in prime areas of the capital city, Jajpur, Nayagarh along with two four wheelers and four two wheelers owned by Santara have also been unearthed, said an official.
Santara has been brought to Bhubaneswar from Koraput’s Sunki and is being examined in connection with the huge cash, bank deposits and other assets.
Searches are currently underway and more details shall follow.
