Pipili: Tension erupted in Pipili after the body of a missing minor boy was found near the railway tracks in Nuapada area in Puri district today.
The locals protested and staged a road blockade as the body was spotted on the railway tracks.
According to reports, traffic was blocked near Jaishapatna.
The locals placed the body of the deceased on the road and staged a road blockade and demanded the immediate arrest of the accused.
It is noteworthy that, the deceased minor has been identified as Soumya Ranjan Jena of Matiapada village in Govindpur near Pipili. He was a 10th-class student of Govindpur High School.
Reportedly, Soumya was missing for last two days following which his maternal grandfather, Budhanath Pradhan, had filed a complaint with Kausalyaganga Police Outpost.
On getting the information, the cops initiated a manhunt and found his body with severed body on the railway tracks at Nuapada today.
His identity card was found from his school bag and the his school authorities were informed. His maternal family arrived at the spot to identify his body.
It has been alleged that Soumya has been killed over love affair. The cops have initiated a probe into the mysterious death case.
