Sasmit Patra appointed BJD leader in Rajya Sabha

Bhubaneswar, : Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik on Friday appointed Sasmit Patra as leader of the party in Rajya Sabha.

Sulata Deo has been appointed as party chief whip in Rajya Sabha, according to a press statement.

Patra has been elected to the upper house for the second time while Deo has been elected for the first time.
