New Delhi: Amid the rising tension between two countries, Russia has declared a ceasefire in Ukraine from 06:00 GMT (Greenwich Mean Time Zone) to allow opening of humanitarian corridors for civilians. The same has been reported by Russia’s media outlet Sputnik.
The Russian government has declared the ceasefire for the exit of civilians from Mariupol and Volnovakha.
“Today, March 5, from 10 am Moscow time, the Russian side declares a regime of silence and opens humanitarian corridors for the exit of civilians from Mariupol and Volnovakha,” the ministry said.
Meanwhile on Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy blasted NATO as “weak” for refusing to impose a no-fly zone.
