Bhubaneswar : Renowned Odia music director and composer Abhijit Majumdar has passed away on Sunday while receiving treatment for chronic liver disease at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar. At the time of death, the director was aged at 54.
The actor was admitted to the AIIMS hospital and his health condition deteriorated on Saturday night. The composer was recently taken off the ventilator and he was moved to the ICU.
Majumdar had been suffering from multiple health issues, including hypertension, hypothyroidism, and chronic liver disease, before slipping into a coma.
He started his music career in the Odia music industry in 1991.
