Angul, : After a period of almost two years, the district authorities of Angul have resumed organising Raahgiri on the occasion of the district’s foundation day on April 1.
The event was organised after the state witnessed a rapid decline in Covid cases.
During the observance of the ‘Patha Utsav’ that was organised on the Jagannath temple road in Angul, scores of people were seen having a ball of a time, dancing, singing and taking selfies.
People were also seen performing yoga, traditional dance, painting and rapping which enhanced the richness and beauty of the festival.
In the last two years, people were in a state of stress due to the pandemic situation in the country. In the meanwhile, observance of Raahgiri in Angul seems to have brought back the charm in the life of the citizens.
