Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Plus 2 exam 2022, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), has begun at 9 am today.
Reportedly, the students will appear for the examinations in offline mode till 12 noon. There will be one sitting per day. The students were scheduled to enter the examination hall by 8.30 am.
On the first day, the students of Arts and Commence streams will sit for MIL (Odia) paper.
A total of 3,21,508 students in Arts (2,13,432), Science (78,077), Commerce (24,136), and Vocational streams (5,863) will appear for the examinations at different.
A total of 1,133 examination centres and 202 management hubs have been set up under CCTV surveillance where mobiles have been prohibited. A squad has been formed including the Central Zone Squad with 58 members, 35 in the Sambalpur Zonal Squad, whereas Baripada and Berhampur zonal squads have 30 members. The readers, assistant professors, and teachers have been selected as members of the squad.
The students will be assessed in two separate schemes for a paper:
Performance of the students based on their performance only in Annual H.S .Examination.
- 80% weightage on the basis of performance in Annual H.S. Examination and 20% weightage from the performance in Quarter End Examinations.
- The highest marks obtained by the students in above two schemes shall be the final mark in that particular paper.
Notably, the matric examination in the State will begin tomorrow and will conclude on May 6.
