Bhubaneswar : The Odisha Driver Association staged a protest rally demanding over the 10-point charter.
Sources said, the association, which has been on padayatra across 30 districts from 21 October is organizing a rally in Bhubaneswar today.
Moreover, hundreds of drivers are marching from Palasuni Chhak towards Naveen Niwas.
In view of continuous hike in fuel prices, All Odisha Private Bus Owners Association had earlier warned to suspend bus operation across the State from November 16 if the State Government does not consider reducing VAT on fuel.
The bus operators have alleged that the buses are facing huge losses due to price hikes in fuel and other essential commodities. The State Government’s support is necessary to continue services
