Balangir: Odia album actress Ruchismita Guru was found hanging inside a house at Sudapada in Odisha’s Balangir, today.
According to reports, Ruchismita, who was a resident of Talapalipada here, had gone to her uncle’s place at Sudapada, few days ago.
Shockingly, her body was found hanging with a saree from a ceiling fan inside a room of the house, this evening.
On being informed, Balangir Town police reached the spot, recovered the body for post-mortem and initiated an investigation.
Though the reason behind the death was yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected by police that she took the extreme step of dying by suicide by hanging herself.
Ruchismita was also a known singer in the entertainment industry.
