Nrityadhara hosts Abhinandan Samaroh in Delhi

New Delhi, .: Premier Cultural Institution of National Capital Region, Nrityadhara hosted 5th edition of Abhinandan Samaroh here with much pomp and splendour. The Festival venue Stein Auditorium of India Habitat Centre was elegantly decked up befitting to the grand occasion. The gala cultural jamboori was attended by hundreds of distinguished Dignitaries and art enthusiasts of NCR. Gracing the Mega Event as Guests veteran Odissi Exponent and Padmashri Awardee Geeta Mahalik, Noted Philanthropist Pankaj Modi, Secretary of Neelachal Seva Sangha Ravi Pradhan and Director Of India Habitat Centre K G Suresh applauded Nrityadhara’s noble initiatives in Promoting and Popularising Odisha’s Rich Art, Vibrant Culture and lofty tradition in National as well as International arena under the able and active stewardship of its Founder Director renowned Odissi Dancer and Guru Vani Madhav.

The Samaroh commenced with magnificent and mesmerizing Manipuri Dance performance by Dr. Theba Devi and group. The next item of the evening was scintillating and soul soothing Odissi Dance recital by disciples of Dr. Manoj kumar Behera.The high point of the supersonic show was the presentation of sparkling and splendid Kuchipudi Duet by disciples of Guru Vanashree Rao, Washim Raja and Moutushi Majumder.The spectacular fiesta concluded with an eye catching and electrifying footworks cum body movements during Kathak dance recital by Moumala Nayak and group.Each recital of the Samaroh was greeted with thunderous applause by the overflowing audiences in the auditorium.Both common dance lovers and discriminating art critics expressed huge appreciation over the performances in the evening . The highlight of Abhinandan Samaroh was the presentation of Prestigious Nritya Chhaya Samman by the Guests to noted Kuchipudi Exponent and Guru Vanashhree Rao for her immense contribution in the field of Indian classical dance. The entire programme was ably co-ordinated and conducted by well known anchor Sadhna Srivastava. The Festival was supported by the Ministry of Culture of Government of India.
