Bhubaneswar, : Mystery shrouded over the death of a newly married woman after she was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her in-law’s house in Bharatpur area of Bhubaneswar this morning.
The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed by the police.
As per reports, a verbal spat broke out between the woman and her husband last night which reportedly escalated into a heated argument.
Thereafter, the woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the house this morning. Being informed, police arrived at the spot and recovered the body. Subsequently, it was sent for post-mortem to Capital Hospital here.
The family members of the woman have alleged that her husband might have murdered her following which the police have detained him for questioning.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact reason behind the death of the woman, said a police official.
It is pertinent to mention that the woman had eloped with the youth from Ganjam and later married him.
