Dhenkanal : Police have recovered the bike of Subrat Behea, a candidate for Samiti member on Wednesday who has gone missing from the last Tuesday.
Following this, police has intensified the investigation with the help of a sniffing dog squad.
Sources said Subrat Behera was contesting for the post of Samiti Member from Nuagaon gram panchayat under the Hindol block limit in Dhenkanal.
His whereabouts were not known to his family members after he left the home for Nimabahali square, in order to modify the election banner.
Meanwhile, Kantabania police has recovered Subrat’s bike a few kilometres away from the Nimabahali square today.
