Bhubaneswar: A miscreant was caught by locals when he was trying to flee from the scene after looting from a shop in Chandrasekharpur area of the capital city of Odisha. Police investigation of the matter is underway.
Identity of the accused miscreant is yet to be ascertained.
As per reports, a miscreant looted from a grocery shop at Shree Vihar chowk in Chandrasekharpur area of Bhubaneswar in the afternoon hours of Wednesday after frightening the shopkeeper at gun point.
However, when the miscreant was trying to flee from the scene, the locals caught him. The whole incident has reportedly been caged in the CCTV.
After getting alerted Chandrasekharpur Thana Police rushed to the spot and started investigation.
The gun that the miscreant used to frighten is a toy gun while he had sharp weapons in his bag.
