Man trampled to death by elephant in Sundergarh s Koida

Koida: A man was trampled to death by an elephant at Kusumundi village under Koida Range in Sundergarh district.

According to sources, the incident occurred while the man had gone to walk around when suddenly an elephant attacked him and following which he died on the spot.

The locals have demanded the Forest Department to take appropriate steps to drive away the elephants wreaking havoc in the village.
