Balasore, : A youth has allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself after losing money in IPL betting in Baliapal Tehsil of Balasore district.
The deceased has been identified as Sujit Das, a resident of Jamkunda village in Baliapal.
On learning about the incident, the family members brought him down and immediately rushed him to Baliapal Community Healthcare Centre (CHC) where the attending doctors, after preliminary examination, pronounced him dead.
Being informed, police arrived at the spot and initiated a probe into the matter.
