Jharsuguda, : Jharsuguda police apprehendedd two dacoits and foiled a loot from a petrol pump on late last night.
Police have also seized firearm and other sharp-edged weapons from the accused. Sources said that police, during patrolling got a tip-off regarding a dacoity gang while the gang members were planning to commit a crime at a petrol pump near Gandhi Square petrol pump.
The accused have been identified as Umesh Yadav and Ghanashyam Sahu. However, four other gang members namely Bishal Bag,Dila Namdeo, Akash Barik and Bana Mishra managed to escape from the spot.
