Keonjhar, : A Keonjhar girl, Mamali Naik has joined Uzbekistan Rugby sport on Thursday.
As a lead player, Mamali is representing Team India for the woman Rugby sport that is being organised on September 18 and 19.
Born at Tabhasarua village under Saharapada block to Dhruba Charan Naik and Nandini who are said to be daily wagers, Mamali joined a charitable school in Bhubaneswar for education.
She practised Rugby team sport there, from coach Rajkishore Murmu and Muna Murmu as she had a deep inclination towards the sports and athletics from the very childhood.
Mamali’s parents and relatives are rejoiced over Mamali’s outreach in the global track. At the same time, the denizens of Keonjhar are also proud of her achievement.
