India reports 961 Omicorn cases, Delhi tops with 263 cases

New Delhi, : India has so far reported a total of 961 Omicron cases, the Health Ministry said today. The Omicron cases have been reported across 22 states and union territories.

According to the reports, Delhi has reported the highest number of Omicron cases with 263, followed by Maharastra (252), Gujarat (97), Rajasthan (69) and Kerala (65).

 

Worth mentioning, Omicron was first reported in South Africa on November 24. India’s first two cases of the Omicron variant were reported in Karnataka on December 2.
