Burla : A different sort of program was organized on Tuesday in the nationally and internationally applauded one rupee clinic of Shankar Ramchandani. The foremost volunteer organization of Western Odisha Biswa Khabara officially launched its You Tube channel in the clinic. Realizing the sanctity of the place it was decided to launch it hear in the place is told by the chief of Biswa Khabar Mr. Subrat Birtia.
In this inauguration ceremony Shankar Ramchandani along with the patients were present. Sri Birtua has the opinion that this is the right place to inaugurate the You Tube channel as it will focus more on volunteers doing social work and social service. It is remarkable that two years prior when Dr. Shankar Ram Chandani started this one rupee clinic his noble effort was appreciated every where.
When the clinic completed its first year Dr. Chandabi once again became a matter if discussion for providing medicine to poor in one rupee. Like that he has also made arrangements for night halt to poor people in the campus. Recently on the eve of World Health Day he has started a medicine bank for poor by collecting surplus medicines coming to Burla Hospital for patients which has proved a boon for patients coming to his clinic.
