Gionee G13 Pro has been launched in China on Friday, January 28. The smartphone sports a similar design to that of Apple iPhone 13. The smartphone feature the same flat frame, camera module, and notch for the selfie camera as the iPhone 13. However, the Gionee smartphone runs HarmonyOS and is powered by a Unisoc T310 SoC.
The chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. Gionee G13 Pro also gets an Elderly Mode as well as a Smart Mode. The Elderly Mode makes it easy to use for the elderly.
Gionee G13 Pro price, availability
The Gionee G13 Pro price is set at CNY 529 (around Rs 6,200) for the base 4GB + 32GB storage option and CNY 699 (around Rs 8,200) for its 4GB + 128GB storage variant. It is available in First Snow Crystal, Sea Blue, and Star Party Purple colour options.
According to Gsmarena, the smartphone is already on open sale in China from online retailer JD.com in four colour options-blue, gold, purple and black.

Gionee G13 Pro features a 6.26-inch full-HD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch cutout that houses the 5-megapixel selfie sensor at the front. Under the hood, it comes powered by a Unisoc T310 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. It runs HarmonyOS out-of-the-box.
The phone features a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary macro sensor.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has a 3,500mAh battery that powers the device and charges via USB-C. The smartphone measures 158x76x9.2mm and weighs 195 grams.
As mentioned earlier, Gionee G13 Pro has two modes that is Elderly Mode and a Smart Mode. The former makes the smartphone easier to use for the elderly by increasing the size of the font as well as the icons. It also sends health codes, payment codes, and makes it more practical to use.
Smart Mode is touted to be suitable for younger, office-going users who need a more efficient UI experience. The smartphone also has face unlock support for security and has a stereo speaker setup with surround sound.
The Gionee handset supports Huawei’s HMS ecosystem and multiple software openings. It also allows multiple WeChat accounts to open concurrently. The smartphone also supports splitscreen that is claimed to let users play and chat at the same time.
