Ganja worth Rs 45 lakh seized in Koraput, two arrested

Koraput, : The police on Thursday seized huge cache of ganja in Semiliguda locality of Koraput district and arrested two persons in this connection.

The identities of the arrestees have not yet been ascertained.

Acting on a tip-off, Semiliguda police intercepted a truck on NH 16 and seized 450 kilograms of ganja from the container. They have arrested two persons.

The estimated worth of the seized contrabrand is over Rs 45 lakh.

According to sources, the ganja was being smuggled from Kunduli area in Koraput district to Uttar Pradesh.
