Nabarangpur, : As many as four persons of Nabarangpur district, who had gone missing after attending a marriage ceremony, were found dead inside a car.
According to the information, the car was found in an abandoned well located at a roadside near Kanker in Chhatisgarh.
The deceased persons have been identified as Sapan Sarkar of Dangariguda village in Nabarangpur district, his wife Rita Sarkar, her brother Biswajit Adhikari and a neighbour Hajari Dhali. They all had gone to Kanker to attend a wedding feast and went missing while returning from the venue. Their mobile phones were also found to be switched off.
Family members of the deceased had lodged a missing complaint suspecting they were kidnapped.
It is being suspected that their car might have met with an accident and fallen into the well. However, the exact reason for the accident is yet to be ascertained.
Their bodies were sent to a nearby hospital for post-mortem.
