Bhubaneswar: Former minister and senior BJP leader Ramakrushna Patnaik passed away in the morning hours in Bhubaneswar today.
According to reports, his daughter Anita Patnaik confirmed that he left for hi heavenly abode at around 9:30 am on Friday.
He was unwell since a few days and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
He was a Minister in the cabinet of Former Chief Minister of Odisha Biju Patnaik and in the cabinet of the present Chief minister Naveen Patnaik.
He had been elected as an MLA for four times from Kodala constituency of Ganjam district.
His mortal remains have now been taken to his residence in Bhubaneswar, later he will be taken to Polasara for the last rites.
