Bhubaneswar, : Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday declared five residential units as micro-containment zones after detection of multiple Covid-19 cases.
The micro-containment zones have been declared at two residential units at Acharya Vihar and one each at Satya Nagar, Bapuji Nagar and Tankapani road in Bhubaneswar.
Notably, Covid cases have been increasing across the state.
As many as 1216 new Covid-19 cases have been detected in the last 24 hours. Khordha district continued to remain one of the epicenters.
