Bhubaneswar : The Commissonerate Police on Wednesday seized fake Indian currency notes with a face value of Rs 200 from Kharvel Nagar area in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday and arrested 2 persons in this connection.
The two arrested accused have been identified as S Satya Narayan Prusty and Bhula Pradhan.
Acting on a tip-off about possession and circulation of Fake Indian Currency Notes at Master Canteen near Reliance smart, a raid was conducted. Based on the written complaint of Sub Inspector Jyoti Shankar Samal, the above noted cafe was registered and investigated.
During the search and search of personal belongings, huge quantities of 200 rupees fake currency notes have been recovered.
During investigation, it was ascertained that accused S Satya Narayan Prusty has been running a coaching center in his native village at Bhanjanagar in Ganjam. With the ambition of getting rich, he came in contact with Bhula Pradhan who has computer knowledge.
