Elderly man trampled to death by wild elephant in Deogarh

Deogarh, : In a tragic incident, an elderly man was killed in an elephant attack in Salohi village of Deogarh district on Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Jayram Kishan (62).

According to the sources, Kishan went to attend nature’s call early morning on Sunday when he came across a wild elephant. He was then trampled by the jumbo.

Later, some locals rescued and rushed him to the nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.
