Sundargarh, : A decomposed body of a man stuffed in a sack has been found lying near a pond at Badagan area in Sundargarh district on Sunday.
The identity of the deceased has not been ascertained yet. However, the police is suspecting murder to be the cause of the death.
According to sources, the locals of the area on Sunday morning saw a sack filled with something lying under suspicious conditions near the pond. The locals had then informed the police about it.
Subsequently the police reached the spot and upon opening the sack, they found a decomposed body inside it.
The police along with a forensic team is inspecting the area for any possible clues. The police has also sent the body for autopsy to determine the cause of the person’s death.
