Bhubaneswar, : Following the prolonged illness of Pradipta Kumar Naik, the BJP legislative party is likely to elect a new opposition leader before the commencement of the monsoon session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly.
According to party sources, the names of three BJP MLAs are doing the rounds for the opposition leader post. They are Sambalpur MLA Jaynarayan Mishra, opposition chief whip Mohan Charan Majhi and Deogarh MLA Subash Chandra Panigrahi.
BJP legislator Nauri Nayak said the central leadership will take the final call on the leadership in the state Assembly.
