Sambalpur, : Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will launch the distribution programme of Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) Smart Health Card at kuchinda in Sambalpur district today. The scheme is aimed at transforming the health services in Odisha.
The Chief Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of various developmental projects worth Rs 700 crore.
The entire event will be held following strict Covid-19 protocols. The RTPCR test has been made mandatory for all the people who will attend the programme including beneficiaries, media representatives, police and the officials of district administration.
Besides, twelve platoon Police force will be deployed to ensure all kind security during the distribution programme.
Worth mentioning, The BSKY smart health card will entitle the beneficiaries’ free treatment at all government hospitals and more than 200 private hospitals of the state.
Each family can avail treatment benefits up to Rs 5 lakh per annum under the scheme and in case of women family members, the limit is Rs 10 lakh.
