Gajapati, : As many as 24 passengers had a close shave as the bus they were travelling in overturned in a ghat area in Mohana locality of Odisha’s Gajapati district in the wee hours of Monday.
As per reports, a private bus named ‘Kamdhenu’ was en route to Brahmapur from Rayagada’s Muniguda when the driver lost control on the wheels and the vehicle overturned in the ghat area at around 3 am. However, the passengers onboard narrowly escaped the mishap
On getting the information, Mohana police along with the fire service officials arrived at the spot and rescued the passengers. Later, they were sent to their respective destination in another bus.
The passengers alleged that the carelessness of the driver and dense fog led to the mishap.
