CDPO under vigilance scanner in Kalahandi

Bhawanipatna, : Tightening the noose around the neck of corrupt officials Odisha Vigilance on Monday apprehended the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) of Thuamul Rampur in Kalahandi district of Odisha.

Sources said, Pushpanjali Rath, CDPO of Thuamul Rampur was apprehended by Odisha Vigilance today while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 1, 00, 000 for the selection of Anganwadi workers.

The entire bribe money has reportedly been recovered from Rath and seized.

Besides, simultaneous searches have been launched on properties of Pushpanjali’s residence in Badapada.

Investigation of the case is underway.
