Bhubaneswar, : The Congress party has decided to field Kishore Chandra Patel in the bypoll to Brajrajnagar Assembly constituency in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district.
Senior Congress leader Santosh Singh Saluja said the party has selected Patel as its candidate for Jharsuguda bypoll.
Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Niranjan Patnaik had formed a 5-member selection committee to decide the candidate for the bypoll.
It was decided to nominate senior party leader and former Speaker Kishore Patel as the party candidate.
