Bonei : Mr.Laxam Munda is the one of the eminent MLAs of the Odisha who was elected from Bonei constituency in 2019.The humanitarian activities were highly appreciated in the National Legislature Conference 2023(NLC) where the chief minister of Odisha, Naveen Pattnaik and four MLAs of the Odisha state had been selected in the list of the top 75 candidates of the country. In the Odisha state, Mr.Laxam Munda(Bonei ) ,Dr. Budhan Murmu (Mayurbhanj Jala Sarasakana),Mr. Makaranda Muduli(Rayagada) and Mrs.Sunanda Dash ( Bari) are MLAs who were come in the national figure for their sustainable activities in the areas. The national MLAs conference had been held in Mumbai from 14th to 18th in collaboration with MIT World Peace University where 75 people had been honored as the best MLAs from different states of the country. There were five tops members of constituency of the Odisha state in the selected list of the national level. Mr. Laxam Munda from 1992,having started his political career, Koida block Chairman, CPIM party had been decorated as MLA from 2004 to 2009,2014 to 2019 and from 2019 till date.During his periods, the development of Bonei constituency had been appreciated where he has continuously succeeded in agitating for the construction of Katika Raj path 2015/520 road or the construction of various state highways. Similarly they had demanded the formation of Banai district,NAC announcement Khuntgoan block announcement, opening of Central School ,Navodaya School ,Engineering College, opening cold store ,taking of Boneigarh college by the government, making Bonei hospital,various for improvement of education fields like construction of libraries, bicycle stands, class rooms, toilets or library houses for recognized colleges and universities, distribution of more than 20000 masks in the Bonei district during covid-19.Free distribution of the household food to the thousands of patients and their families. Luhunipada,Koida,Gurundia Hospitals during the month of Masadh,20000 families of Sukh.He had been praised for distribution of food funds, enrollment of the meritorious pupils in the Boneigarh College, construction roads for transportation, construction of bridges for communication ,lighting of many villages, houses of worship of various religious, construction and improvement of temples, construction of group centers houses in most villages. In particularly, the thousands of poor residents and local youth had succeeded in agitating relentlessly and determinedly against the minors to provide them jobs security.
