Chandigarh, : Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh is likely to announce the launching of his own political party on Wednesday.
Amarinder Singh will hold a press meet in Chandigarh on Wednesday where he is likely to announce the formation of new party.
After formally resigning from the party, Amarinder last week said that he would soon form his own political party to serve the interests of the people, including the farmers who have been fighting for their rights for over a year now.
Singh also added that he is hopeful of a seat-sharing arrangement with the BJP in the Assembly elections to be held next year in the state.
Amarinder added that he would not rest until he could secure the future of his people and his state.
