Actress Leena Maria Paul arrested in Rs 200 cr extortion case

New Delhi, : The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Delhi police on Monday said it has arrested Leena Maria Paul, partner of Sukesh Chandrashekhar, in connection with case related to allegedly duping Aditi Singh to the tune of Rs 200 crore, wife of former Ranbaxy promoter Shivinder Singh.

Leena Maria Paul has been arrested for allegedly helping her boyfriend Sukesh Chandrasekhar, an accused in 21 cases, in extorting Rs 200 crore from the businessman’s wife.

EOW has arrested four more persons in connection with the case.

An FIR was registered on August 7 after Shivinder Singh’s wife informed the police about the incident.
