Dar said this while interviewing Pakistani news channel Geo News. Dar said, now our patience is also slowly breaking. If India stops the attack, then we can consider stopping it.’
Dar also said that he gave this message to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. When Rubio called him two hours later to talk to Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar. This statement came at a time when India targeted 9 terrorist camps in Pakistan’s PoK through ‘Operation Sindoor’. The retaliatory attack was carried out after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which claimed the lives of 26 people. Dar’s soft approach came after an appeal from the US.
