News Desk: The mortal remains of Odia boy Prashant Kumar Shatpathy, who was killed in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahelgaon, reached his native village Ishani in Balasore district on Thursday morning. After this, the village burst into tears of Prashant’s family, friends and villagers. Prashant will be given his last farewell in a mournful atmosphere.
The mortal remains arrived from New Delhi at the Bhubaneswar airport late on Wednesday night. Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, Chief Minister’s Advisor Prakash Mishra, Additional Secretary, Home Department Satyabrat Sahu and politicians from various parties arrived and paid floral tributes to the mortal remains. Later, the mortal remains were taken to their native place from there. It is worth noting that Prashant died in a terrorist attack while he was visiting Pahelgaon with his wife and son.
