Balasore, : Balasore police has recovered as many as 9 stolen bikes and arrested two bike lifters on Monday.
Sources said a bike loot gang was busted in Mayurbhanj recently.
During interrogation, the mastermind of the gang informed that some Balasore-based looters are active members of the gang.
Acting on it, Nilagiri police arrested two bike lifters late night on Sunday and recovered 9 stolen bikes from their possession.
As many as 40 complaints have been lodged with police in this connection. Further investigation is underway to recover the other bikes and bust the whole chain, said police.
