Puri, : On the occasion of Ganesh Puja, renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created an installation sculpture of Lord Ganesh by using about seven thousand seashells with the message “World peace”, at Puri beach in Odisha.
Pattnaik has created a 5ft height sand sculpture of Lord Ganesh by using seashells.
The unique sulpture is first of its kind in the world, said Sudarsan.
Before this, he has created an installation sand art of Lord Ganesh by using plastic bottles.
So far, Padma awardee sand artist has participated in more than 60 international sand art championships and festivals around the world and won many prizes for our country.
His sand sculptures are based on social awareness like world peace, go green, beat pollution, stop terrorism, COVID 19 etc.
