Kalahandi: In a tragic incident, a couple lost their lives in Kalahandi district of Odisha. The incident took place in Koksara block under Amapani police station in Kalahandi.
It has been reported that the couple were in love and due to some reason were forced to hang themselves from a tree. The deceased lover has been identified as Nitesh Mund of Kaudola village and his girlfriend is a minor girl. Both of them were in love with each other since a long time.
However, their dead bodies were found hanging from a tree on Kaudola Kumudamunda road this morning. The Amapani police station has reached the spot and has started an investigation. It is suspected that they lost their lives as family members opposed their love affair. However, the reason for their death is still unclear. Further detailed reports awaited.
