Cuttack: Inter Kashi and Mumbai City FC have entered the quarter-finals of the Kalinga Super Cup Football Championship-2025 being played at the Kalinga Stadium. The 5th and 6th pre-quarter-finals were played on Wednesday. Inter Kashi and Mumbai City FC entered the quarter-finals with victories, while Bengaluru FC and Chennaiyin FC said goodbye. In the fifth pre-quarter-final, Inter Kashi defeated Bengaluru FC 1-1 (5-3) on penalties to reach the quarter-finals. The game was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation time, so penalties were taken. In this, Inter Kashi defeated Bengaluru FC by 5-3 goals. Matija Bavovic scored a goal in the 14th minute of the game to give the team a 1-0 lead. Bengaluru FC equalized in the 62nd minute. Ryan Williams scored a goal for the team to level the match at 1-1. In the sixth quarter-final, Mumbai City FC defeated Chennaiyin FC by 4-0 goals and reached the quarter-finals. For Mumbai City FC, N. Carlisle scored in the 43rd minute, Lalrinjuala Chengate scored the second goal in the 64th minute and the third goal in the 86th minute. Bipin Singh scored the fourth goal in the 90th minute to give Mumbai City FC a 4-0 win.
