OnePlus 9RT receives its first update in India with system fixes and camera optimisations

OnePlus has released the first update for the recently launched OnePlus 9RT in India. The update has brought fixes to a host of problems pertaining to system, display, camera, and network. The December 2021 Android security has also been rolled out with the update.

The update is 167MB in size and has the firmware number MT2111export_11_A.03_2022011122390173, reported Gadgets 360.

The update includes fixes for the issue of abnormal display on the shelf, improves system stability. The December 2021 Android security patch is also bundled with the update.

The update has also brought camera optimisations for the phone. The Android 11-based update optimises the Ul display effect of Movie Mode, the effect of super anti-shake function, and Network-related VoWiFi stability. It also fixes an issue of wrong watermark position.

OnePlus 9RT 5G users will generally receive a notification about the update. But, if you have not got one yet then you can look for the update manually by navigating to Settings > System > System updates.

As the file size is big, users should update the OnePlus 9RT while connected to a strong Wi-Fi and put the phone on charging.

OnePlus 9RT was launched in India last week with a starting priced of Rs 42,999 for the 8GB variant in the country.

OxygenOS 11 skin that runs on Android 11 and it features a 6.62-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is has  a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of inbuilt UFS 3.1 storage.

The device has a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixelprimary sensor and a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 selfie camera.

The phone has a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support via the company’s Warp Charge 65T technology over USB Type-C.
