Koraput: The police on Monday has seized as much as 200 kgs of ganja in Koraput district of Odisha.
According to reports, the ganja has been seized from Padua locality of Koraput district and two persons have been arrested in this connection.
The accused have been identified as Kandadusura Barik and Sadan Khila, residents of Pandei and Gangarajpur villages respectively.
Acting on a reliable tip-off, the police intercepted a number less pick-up van near Raising village and conducted a search.
They have recovered 200 kilograms of ganja packed in 10 sacks and seized it.
According to sources, the ganja was being smuggled to Chhattisgarh. The estimated worth of the seized contraband is over Rs 20 lakh.
