18 quintal ganja seized in Gajapati, two detained

Parlakhemundi, : Two persons were detained in connection with the smuggling of ganja from Marlaba ghat in the Gajapati district.

Acting on a tip-off, the Excise department officials conducted a raid and seized 18 quintal ganja. The ganja was being illegally transported in a truck from Chandiput to Berhampur.

Further investigation into this matter is underway, said an official.
