Bhubaneswar: The Chief Electoral Officer of Odisha released the final voter list ahead of the three-tier Panchayat Elections in the State.
Reportedly, a total of 9,50,789 new voters have been added to the list while names of 3,44,944 voters have been discarded from the final voter list.
The total number of eligible voters in the State are 3,29,83,643 including 1,67,96,603 male voters and 1,61,83,835 female voters. Similarly, 3025 voters belong to the third gender.
The number of voters in the age group between 18 and 19 years of age group has surged to 5,23,744. In 2021, the number of voters in this age group was 4,10,067. Hence, the number of voters has increased by 4.31 lakh a year.
The mistakes of 3,42,601 voters on the list have been rectified, added reports.

- In the section ‘For Voters’ on the left side of the page, click on View Final Electoral Rolls-2022
- Then fill out the details including ‘District’, ‘Assembly Constituency’ and ‘Booth’ and view the voters’ list and check their names
It is to be noted that the Odisha Election Commission on the exercise of powers vested on it by Article 243 K of the Constitution of India and Panchayat Acts and Rules has prescribed a Model Code of Conduct for the upcoming Panchayat Election. The Model Code of Conduct has been issued in Odia and English versions for the conduct of free and fair elections.
The three-tier Panchayat elections in Odisha are likely to be held in the first or second week of February 2022.
