Paralakhemundi, : A joint team of Gajapati Police and Excise Department destroyed ganja cultivation over 106 acres of land near Naudipadar village under R.Udayagiri police limits in Gajapati district.
The estimated worth of the destroyed crop is said to be over Rs 21 crore.
Acting on a tip-off, the joint team raided the area and burnt the plants in presence of the Tehsildar, excise officials and local police station inspector-in-charge (IIC).
Worth mentioning, from the past one month the excise officials destroyed ganja cultivation more than worth Rs 300 crore in Gajapati.
